 Jump-A-Thon
Forty adventurous souls made the trek out to Ottawa, Sunday, for an amazingly exhilarating experience…jumping from 13,000 ft and falling at a speed of 120mph. After a brief weather delay, there were only blue skies. More than 150 family and friends, there to lend their moral support, watched as the skies were dotted with jumpers and colorful parachutes, all landing just a few yards in front of them. The adrenaline rush of the jumpers was only over shadowed by the excitement of those on the ground watching in anticipation for their loved one to land.
You all deserve an extreme ‘thank you’! Your choice of fundraisers to support certainly puts you in a category all your own. You have earned bragging rights not just for the extreme sport you chose, but for the extreme fundraising you did on behalf of WDSRA. We are still totaling the contributions, but it is clear that this was a huge success!
